We have a plan!

Yep, a plan of action!

We know we have been a little quiet of late, here, twitter, Facebook and event he website is silent! I bet you thought we were gone! Well we kind of had, in a physical 'see us' type way, but I am sure you will be pleased to know that in an actual way, we are still here!

We have had a silence on the public front because we are in the background, planning, working out, sorting the re-launch of Piddley Pix!

So what's the plan? Well, I can't say too much, you want a little surprise (don't you?!), but I will share that it *may* include a new fun, easier to use website, that we *may* have new products with brand spanking new designs for you to choose from and we have, i mean *may* have a brilliant new logo!

So, please do keep your eyes peeled, as over the next few weeks - you will see us back more and more, you will see the new stuff and hopefully it will mean you enjoy your shopping experience more!

Thank you for Helping Japan

You will have previously read that we are running a 'Art for Japan' scheme where you can get an A6, hand drawn (with markers) picture on a subject of your choosing for £10.00 and £8.00 goes to the Japan relief appeal of the British Red Cross.

We just wanted to say thank you to those who have already bought one and helped to donate to such a great cause, and we thought we would show you some of the fab pictures people have chosen to have!

The best news is there is still time to bag one of these yourself and help Japan! So, whether you want something to represent your children, a picture of you, and animal or even a landmark you love - get in touch!

Helping Japan!

No-one could have missed the recent events that have happened in Japan, and unfortunately the effects of it are still going on. Many people have lost their families, their house and all their belongings. The people of Japan are having to fight weather conditions, lack of provisions and a potential radiation threat.

They still need support and unfortunately from this far a field that often means money!

Like many of you we really want to help, so we have decided to offer something a little special!

You can get an A6, hand drawn with markers, picture on a subject of your choosing for £10.00. It will be produced on 300gsm Satin Paper (or thin card to you and me) and will be unique to you, drawn of a subject you request, whether it be to represent your children, a picture of you and the love of your life or as simple as a giraffe!
The best bit of this is that £8.00 from each card will go to the Brtish Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal!

Please email kelly@piddleypix.com if interested!

Baby Signing the Piddley Pix way!

As you are aware Piddley Pix sells pictures for Children's spaces, the kind you put on the wall of your children's bedrooms or play rooms to give it that little extra something.  What you may not know is that we have also entered the world of corporate illustration, so this post is to tell you a bit more about what we can do and about one of the projects we are currently undertaking!

Corporate illustration is an area with such variety, it's hard to give you all the information you may want on it, but if you need something illustrating please get in touch and we can talk about your needs! We can illustrate your stories, books, training documents and more!

To demonstrate a little more, let me introduce you to a project we are working on - Baby Signing Mummy; we were contacted by Louise from Baby Signing Mummy through the amazing world of Twitter asking if we did corporate/bespoke work and of course our answer was yes! Baby Signing Mummy is developing by the week and Louise needed some artwork for the company to show the signs she teaches - so the Signing Stars were born:

So, if we can help you in anyway - get in touch info@piddleypix.com or if you are interested in Baby Signing for your little one check out the website!

Artist Update!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to give you a couple of brief updates about Kev's (our artist) life outside of Piddley Pix.

Kev recently launched his very own webcomic 'The Monkey and The Mouse' it is a fun look at the life of a toddler (Monkey) and a baby (Mouse), any parent of little 'uns will be able to relate to it! Do check it out!!

Outside of Piddley Pix Kev spends a lot of time drawing art and fan art influenced by films, other webcomics and more! One of his fave things to draw is Star Wars and Kev has (deservedly) had a picture included in the blog post 'Awesome Star Wars Arts Collection' by the people at Petshopbox Studio - do have a look, alongside Kev's fab picture is many other great takes on Star Wars - a must see for any Star Wars fan!

Well Done Kev and we are very pleased you work with Piddley Pix.  Look out for a guest post from Kev soon!
